Dwelly has been teaching us how to ask for drinks or say what we鈥檇 like to drink. It鈥檚 all very handy for Seanair as he can now say 鈥淕abhaidh mi uisge-beatha鈥�. That means 鈥淚鈥檒l take a whisky鈥�. We鈥檙e going to Islay for a wee trip this month and they鈥檝e as many distilleries as a man with no thumbs 鈥� eight!! Imagine 鈥�. no thumbs. How would you manage to pick your tunes on your machine? Eh?

I thought I was in for a nightmare as Morag suggested I (personally) should check out the Mull Historical Society seeing we are heading there tomorrow. Cripes!! I looked them up on the internet 鈥� miracle! They are/were a band! It鈥檚 just one guy doing it all by the look of it, and he鈥檚 got some cracking tunes as well 鈥� result! Maybe, just maybe, Morag isn鈥檛 quite as grey as she acts. I think I will need to go and have a look to see if there really was/is a 鈥楾obermory Zoo鈥�. If I find it, I鈥檒l let you know.

Haidh a h-uile duine,

I鈥檓 just planning a new mix of an Arctic Monkeys song with new lyrics about Melodaidh. She sure looks good on a surfboard. I steered well clear of the surfing after my miserable failures up in Thurso in the spring.

D猫 tha dol agaibh co-dhi霉? It was a wee bit chilly hanging out with Melodaidh as she went surfing, but it was definitely better than trailing Seanair and Morag around the heritage and archaeology sites which seem to be 鈥� everywhere.

Feasgar math. I wish Dwelly had taught me how to say 鈥榖ad afternoon鈥� in Gaelic. I was just settling down to some fish and chips on the sea front. I put the stuff down beside me and went to my rucksack to get my 鈥楳P3 player鈥� out 鈥� then I heard everyone laughing. I looked up to see a bl**dy big rubbish hawk (that鈥檚 a seagull to you and me) nicking my dinner!

Robbed and humiliated in Oban. That鈥檒l probably be the title of my best-selling travelogue about this year. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr 鈥︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹�︹��.

I鈥檓 not sure where we鈥檙e going next month. Dwelly hasn鈥檛 told us yet. I think he鈥檚 going to spring that on us tonight. As long as there are no more avian thieves doing the rounds I鈥檓 sure it鈥檒l be alright.
