This week's Bells on Sunday, comes from the church of St Mary Magdalene, Ditcheat in Somerset. Ditcheat was one of the last great medieval towers to be completed in the county and there were five bells here until 1825, when a sixth was added. All the old bells were scrapped in 1913 and replaced by a new ring of eight which are renowned for their magnificent tone. We hear them now ringing Oxford Bob Triples.
