Â鶹Éç

Helen Mark MBE presents Â鶹Éç Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine this week alongside Rab Lennox, Jonnie Crawford and Willie Hill. Willie attends a tree planting ceremony at Delaney Green in Carrickfergus, paying tribute to and hearing the remarkable story of Carrick native Elizabeth Hutchinson Jackson, mother of Andrew, 7th President of the United States of America. Rab chats with Greg Harley (aka Greg the Piper) who – when he’s not piping at some hugely significant events around the UK – is engineering for and even flying with the Red Arrows! Jonnie catches up with the directors behind a heap of spooky content with an Ulster-Scots spin being made for both the Â鶹Éç and Northern Visions. And to end – a seasonal, spooky ghost story from Slemish! As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email – kintra@bbc.co.uk
