Fred MacAulay introduces some of the funniest comedians in the UK doing what they do best – pure stand-up comedy. And since we can’t all get together in The Stand Comedy Club, everyone is gathering virtually for a live gig like never before! Fred introduces: * Neil Delamere, with his razor sharp wit and gags. * Emmanuel Sonubi, British-Nigerian comedian who has hosted Live at the Apollo. * Amy Matthews, one of the fastest rising stars on the circuit. * Omid Djalili, stand-up comedian and Hollywood superstar. Fred at The Stand is the closest thing your ears are going to get to an actual night in a comedy club. Programme recorded with an online audience. Producer: Richard Melvin A Dabster production for 鶹 Radio 4, first broadcast in January 2021.
