Are we surrounded by an invisible killer? James Gallagher, 麻豆社 health and science correspondent and presenter of Inside Health on Radio 4, investigates how our noisy world is damaging our health. We鈥檒l find out why noise increases our risk of health problems, like heart attacks, disrupted sleep and anxiety, and can even affect how long we live. James has two days in Barcelona 鈥 one of the noisiest cities in Europe 鈥 to meet the people whose health is being ruined by noise and the scientists and doctors trying to turn down the volume. James also visits London where he'll be experimented on in a sound lab to find out exactly how noise changes the body. James discovers that even when we think we鈥檝e tuned out loud noise it can still be damaging our health and why we all need to start paying attention to the noise around us.
