Dyscalculia affects around 6% of the global population. That’s around 4 million people in the UK and just under 200,000 in Wales. Affecting a person's ability to understand numbers and perform arithmetic operations, the condition can cause those affected to face a multitude of challenges. Simply put, if numbers are involved, there’s a problem to overcome. In this programme, Francis Jones meets people with the condition and experts working in the field to ascertain how exactly the condition manifests itself in children and adults.
