Cerys hosts your Sunday sonic and cultural adventure, with Sudanese-born artist Sulaf live in session and a chat with Scottish visual artist and musician Mairearad Green. Sulaf Elyas is a Sudanese-born, Europe-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends traditional Sudanese sounds with contemporary electronics, folk and spoken word. She joins us ahead of the release of her debut album ABA, out on 9 October. Raised in Coigach on Scotland's north-west coast, Mairearad Green is an award-winning accordionist, composer, visual artist and singer whose work is deeply rooted in the landscapes, history and traditions of the Highlands and Islands. She joins us to discuss T矛m (pronounced "Cheem"), her new album and accompanying art exhibition exploring time, memory and place, ahead of a Scottish tour with long-time collaborator Mike Vass this August.
