KintraAvailable for 28 days
Helen Mark MBE presents Â鶹Éç Radio Ulster’s weekly Ulster-Scots magazine - this week alongside Rab Lennox and Willie Hill. Helen takes a trip to Kirlish in Co Tyrone to mark it being a century since the granting of the Ferguson Master Patent, chatting with Stevan Patterson, a long time champion of the Harry Ferguson tractor story. Meanwhile, Rab reports from a very special event at City Hall, Belfast, celebrating Ulster-Scot themed TV programmes and multi-media projects reflecting the 250th Anniversary of US Independence. Willie heads to Londonderry to hear about an event taking place to honour Bandsman William Love, a musician and composer whose marching tunes are played across the world to this day. As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email – helen.mark@bbc.co.uk
