After the wild rumours they heard about hare coursing in the villages, Lucy and Chris Packham join a stakeout to see it for themselves. It means driving over remote fields late at night, with only a volunteer called John and his friends to keep them safe. It feels like this is leading them into something new - could it be dangerous? Buried is the multi award-winning investigative podcast series digging into some of the most disturbing environmental stories in history. In this series, reporters Dan Ashby and Lucy Taylor follow a trail left after dozens of dead animals were left in villages in the British countryside. They team up with the wildlife presenter Chris Packham, whose own dead-animal death threats escalated into a car bomb outside his house. The dead animals lead them into uncovering a criminal underworld in the British countryside. The team's previous exploration into 'forever chemicals' continues on TV in Buried with Michael Sheen.
