An hour of music celebrating all things Bristol and beyond, tracing the evolution of 'The Bristol Sound' - from its roots in sound system culture to global trip-hop and its lasting impact on drum & bass. Featuring music from pioneers of The Bristol Sound Smith & Mighty, Fresh Four, and The Wild Bunch; trip-hop icons Portishead and Massive Attack; and signature jazz-infused drum and bass from the likes of Krust and Roni Size. As well as tracks from beyond Bristol that trace their roots straight back to the scene, including cuts from Björk, DJ Shadow, and Leftfield. A We Are Grape production for Â鶹Éç 6 Music.
