“Do NOT Panic about Date of Birth!” says Sean. He’s reading Barney Sloan’s quiz question. “Everyone will get this! Born in 1907 she is a famous actress and dancer. In the forties she was a leading Actress in a film which was nominated for seven Academy Awards, but won none. She played a bedridden woman who overheard her own murder being planned on a crossed line. She moved to television and demanded the word “Miss” in front of her name on the opening credits…” “I never liked her,” Sean says. Babs in Newtownards gets the right answer. “Was it something to do with her lipstick you didn’t like?” “I can never forgive her,” Sean says, “for stealing my childhood. She was in westerns. I just went for the cowboys!” With music from Dion, The Kinks, John Prine, and more.
