We visit a Burns Night in the Great Hall of Queen’s University, put on by the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry. Organiser, Dr John Kirk explains to Liam Logan that this event has no supper, haggis or speeches - it’s a night to celebrate the poems and songs of Burns.
