Hunger and malnutrition in childhood will trap almost a billion young people in poverty by 2025. That’s according to The Enough Food For Everyone IF campaign, which launched last week. More than 100 aid organisations have come together to launch the campaign against hunger, to coincide with the UK's role heading the G8 this year. It’s the UK agencies' biggest joint mobilisation since Make Poverty History in 2005. At the launch were a number of well-known figures, including Chef Vivek Singh from the famous Cinnamon Club in London. But just how much food wastage is there at his restaurants? In this extract he speaks to Desi Download reporter Ruchi Tandon about the extreme contrasts of his food world...
