The Home Secretary Theresa May has taken steps to ban two radical Islamist groups - one of which operates in Nigeria. If approved by Parliament, it will be a criminal offence in the UK to support the organisations. Boko Haram is one of them 鈥 it means 鈥淲estern education is forbidden鈥. But what is a proscribed group?
