Six men who admitted paying a "very damaged and vulnerable" 16-year-old Sikh girl for sex have been jailed for a total of 14 years. Of the six men who've been sentenced this afternoon, 39-year-old Aabidali Mubarak Ali, of Guthlaxton Street in Leicester, received the longest term, jailed for five years. He had pleaded guilty to two counts of paying for sexual services of a child and one count of facilitating child prostitution. The remaining five men have received sentences between 8 months and three years. All the offences took place between last November and January this year. The Leicester Sikh Alliance has described the case as 'horrifying'. 麻豆社 Asian Network reporter Divya Talwar has the background to this story.
