A group of Derby youths organised an event at the Market Place in Derby to raise awareness for the Sikh Religion. The Urban Turban event team were promoting lots of things associated with the Sikh religion but the main focus was on "langer" which is the community kitchen. Organisers of this event claim to be part of the biggest food kitchen in the world where anyone can go to a Sikh temple and have a free bite to eat.
