Reya El-Salahi

Available for over a year

Somali groups in the UK have condemned the deadly attack on a shopping centre in neighbouring Kenya, by Somali's Al-Shabab - a group linked with al-Qaeda. The Council of Somali Organisations in the UK says "it’s extremely saddened" and that it would continue its work to promote "integration, tolerance, and peace" in the UK. In Nottingham, Somalian-born Hamza Ali, founder of Nottingham's East African Education Centre, explains to Reya what life is like for people living in the East African country.
