Racing pundit John McCririck, who has lost his age discrimination case against Channel 4 for his dismissal from his role on Channel 4 Racing, said he feels that he "let so many people down". A tribunal ruled against him and said that his persona and views on Channel 4 racing were “clearly unpalatable to a wider potential audience". The 73-year-old says his wife Jenny McCririck, who he calls The Booby, has been “so stressed” and the ruling has “hit her very hard”. “I let my wife The Booby down, she was always worried about this and counselled me not to go ahead, my legal team I let down," he said.
