Of course we all love to see Leicestershire and Rutland's High Streets full of the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping, but for some the busy streets can be intimidating. That's why the county council, along with Leicestershire police, Age UK and our city and district councils have come together to create "safe havens" across the county's retail areas where anyone who feels vulnerable or distressed can take a moments peace along with immediate support. Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester's Ben Marshall has been to the launch of this years scheme and he spoke with Joe Orson, County Councillor for Asfordby.
