A campaign is underway to get a derelict Nottingham pub converted into a community centre. The Beacon closed six years ago and has since become a target for vandalism, drug addicts and fly-tipping. But a group of local residents are hoping that festive spirit will help raise over six thousand pounds to turn the building into a creative hub for the community. The project's being led by Robert Howie-Smith who has been showing Â鶹Éç Radio Nottingham's Reya El-Salahi around the site.
