A major conference on AIDS in Boston has heard ambitious approaches in treating the disease, among them from UK researchers on a trial that they believe could eventually lead to a cure. It goes further than the anti-retroviral drugs that can only inhibit the spread of the disease. Dr John Frater from Oxford University is involved in the trial.
