In March the Chairman of Birmingham Central Mosque caused controversy by seeming to compare gays with murderers and paedophiles on a Âé¶¹Éç Three debate show. He said 'Human beings do have weaknesses and tendencies which are not socially acceptable and so they try to have a control over them and do not give in' comparing this to the same urges that murderers and paedophiles have.
