A 700-page economics book has become an unexpected bestseller. "Capital in the Twenty-First Century" by 42-year-old Frenchman Thomas Piketty has topped the Amazon sales chart. In it, he examines the history of income and wealth in more than 20 countries since the Industrial Revolution and comes up with some uncomfortable conclusions.
