Dr Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb, was an Indian politician and academic held by many to be one of the greatest human rights campaigners of all time. He campaigned against the Indian caste system which left certain groups, now known as Dalits, discriminated against and deemed untouchable. To mark the 123rd birthday of Dr Ambedkar, The Bedford Ambedkar Mission Society, has organised an exhibition about his life, work and his contribution to the human rights movement.
