"What is 'Fugue'?" Charles Hazlewood poses the question in the first of two programmes exploring this mysterious art. Charles and the Â鶹Éç Concert Orchestra examine fugues by three composers who were inspired by the genius of fugue himself, JS Bach. Mozart, Elgar and Britten all used the technique to create their own masterpieces, years after Bach's death.
