Charles Hazlewood talks to composer Tansy Davies about how she came to create Rift, her new work for the Â鶹Éç Concert Orchestra. Davies composed the piece alongside a project for schools and colleges in the Watford area. Taking as her inspiration two musical worlds colliding, she explores a way of combining her new work and the workshop material together.
