Earlier this week a US fertility doctor said he's treating up to 10 UK women each month from London, who travel to his California clinic to choose the sex of their baby. Gender selection is illegal in the UK unless there is a good medical reason, such as if it will stop certain genetic conditions. Why would someone need to choose the sex of their baby?
