The Guardian's Egypt correspondent, Patrick Kingsley describes the scene in the Cairo hotel where representatives from Israel and Gaza were holding talks. It was, he said, a study in contrasts - exhausted negotiators on one hand, delighted Egyptian wedding parties on the other and a smattering of spooks to keep the press pack in order.
