A civilian in Yemen, Faisal bin Ali Jaber, was spared in a drones strike that killed his brother-in-law and nephew. Salem, an Imam, and his nephew Waleed were killed in a drone strike targeting Al Qaeda members in a car near their mosque in Yemen Faisal bin Ali Jaber says that the strike has affected his community and now they "live in fear". He describes the actions from the US as "appalling" and states, "we have to persuade our youth not to join Al Qaeda". NATO have encouraged more use of drones, but Faisal bin Ali Jaber says, "investing in drones is investing in killing." His statement comes ahead of a NATO conference in Newport which will take place next week. This audio is originally from Tony Livesey's programme on Friday August 29.
