''We're losing the battle to contain Ebola'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

The World Health Organisation has warned Liberia to expect thousands of new cases of Ebola in the coming weeks. In a statement, it said the virus was spreading exponentially in Liberia, where it has already killed over a thousand people. It says motorbike-taxis and regular taxis were a hot source of potential transmission. Both the US and Britain have offered military assets to tackle the spread of the virus in West Africa. Up All Night's Charissa Chadderton spoke to Sophie-Jane Madden, who works for Medecin San Frontiers, and is in Monrovia in Liberia. This clip is originally from Up All Night on Tuesday 9 September 2014
