What is the history of Bhangra music in England? A new book "Bhangra: Mystics, Music and Migration" is all about Bhangra history in Yorkshire since the 1960’s. It may well be born in the Punjab but author Hardeep Singh says it has a rich history in the mill towns of the North after immigrants settled in the region. He has studied the subject at Huddersfield University, and in this extract he tells Â鶹Éç Radio Leeds presenter Mussarrat Abbasi how Bhangra came to be linked with Yorkshire.
