Following rumors that Steven Gerrard's time at Anfield could be over at the end of the 2014/15 season Robbie Fowler was quick to defend the importance of the Liverpool captain. The former Reds striker stated a belief that new players will be "lifted" by the ex-England captain's presence despite not being as good as he once was.
