Last week 50 fourteen year old pupils from Leicester went on a school trip they'll never forget. They went to France to join up with students from France and Germany to recreate the Christmas truce of 1914...a truce where British and German soldiers exchanged gifts and sang together in the middle of the trenches. But before the meet up, the pupils from the Lancaster School visited battle sites and memorials to see for themselves where millions fought and died.
