Armfield: City players 'still have to prove themselves'

Sportsworld

Available for over a year

Former England captain Jimmy Armfield's assesses Manchester City's performance as they let a two goal lead slip to draw 2-2 with Burnley in the Premier League. Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Southampton earlier in the day gave City the perfect chance to close the gap to the league leaders but two second half goals, the first from Boyd and second from Barnes meant the champions could only take one point from a team just one place off the foot of the table. The former Blackpool player said "Burnley put Manchester City under the microscope, particularly at the back" and that the result should act as an "eyeopener for the whole premiership". This Clip is from Sportsworld on 28 Dec 14.
