Former Indian opening batsman Aaskash Chopra reflects on MS Dhoni's retirement from Test cricket. While he admits that "every captain has his shelf life" because of the need for a "new lease of life in terms of ideas". Chopra suggests that Dhoni choosing retire from playing as well as captaining the side may be a mistake stating "as a batsman he was turning a new leaf - the way he batted in England gave me a lot of confidence, he found a new way of scoring runs".
