Leaders at the Manchester Central Mosque say more needs to be done to create a better understanding of Islam. It comes after the Communities Secretary Eric Pickles wrote to Islamic leaders in the UK, saying they had a key role to play in fighting extremism. Former Chairman of the Mosque Itraam Khan invited Phil Williams to visit, and said he felt Islamic State fighters were hijacking their faith.
