A former England test cricket player says depression made him "shut down". Graeme Fowler said his wife first identified his depression 12 years ago at a time when "there was absolutely no reason why I should fall into this pit". Sixty per cent of people with a mental health problem wait more than a year to tell the people closest to them that they're struggling according to a survey for Time To Change. "I just felt I was at the bottom of a well - there was no point living, there were no colours in life, there was nothing funny, I didn't taste anything, I didn't want to talk to anybody. I'd actually just shut down." This clip is originally from 5 live Daily on Thursday 5 February 2015.
