Three French sports personalities are among 10 people killed in a helicopter crash in Argentina, the French presidential office confirmed. Sir Robin Knox-Johnston has paid tribute to Florence Arthaud, the French sailor who died while filming a reality television programme. Sir Robin described the "extraordinary" Arthaud as "an incredibly tough, competitive sailor" who was described by the French as the "fiancée of the Atlantic". Sir Robin said he would remember her as someone he had "a great liking for and someone I had huge respect for".
