A vote has begun to choose a national bird for Britain, the nominees are: the robin, blue tit, wren, blackbird, mute swan, kingfisher, red kite, barn owl, puffin and hen harrier. You can listen to them all courtesy of Tweet of the Day. The vote has been called for by 'urban birder' David Lindo who feels the robin has had it's time as Britain's bird. Visit the site to make your choice.
