A story has been posted online about a 28 year old woman from Germany who has been rejected five times by potential husbands because she has got darker skin. Her lighter skinned sister who wrote the article says this shows the age old problem of fair skin being seen as better. Is this something that is still alive and kicking within British Asian communities? Sara shares her story with Nihal.
