Memorial for Munich Massacre 43 Years on

Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

Its been more than 40 years since two members of the Israeli Olympic team were killed by Palestinian militants at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. Now, a new film is re-examining the events of September 1972 - the attacks, the deaths and the legacy. The film's director Stephen Crisman, says his work is about "peeling back layers". Work has now started on a permanent memorial to the events of 1972, and Crisman says the chosen design will be particularly emotive.
