Ronnie Carroll died in April 2015 at the age of 80. Ronnie, who grew up in East Belfast, was one of Northern Ireland’s first pop stars and represented the UK twice at the Eurovision Song Contest in the early 1960’s. As a small tribute, here he is chatting on The Gerry Kelly Show a few years ago about leaving Belfast and finding fame.
