A woman from Leicestershire who had a stroke at the age of 14 says the mental problems she suffered as a result been more difficult to deal with then the physical ones. This comes as a new report from the Stroke Association reveals that the number of women in the East Midlands aged between 40 and 54 having strokes has rocketed by almost a third in eight years. Twenty Five year old Kirsty Wootton from Sapcote had a stroke when she was just 14 years old.....Doctors never found a cause. But years later she says she is still dealing with the emotional effects. Our reporter Kristina Hrywnak went to speak to Kirsty at her home in Sapcote.
