Ben Morfitt, 24, spent a month creating a video of himself playing the parts of a 70-piece orchestra in his bedroom and posted his symphony on YouTube. He filmed an empty concert hall in Hull’s Abermarle Music Centre as the basis for the clip, before then taping himself playing each instrument in front of a green screen in his bedroom and slowly building the orchestra. Ben taught himself how to play his instruments and admitted “I don’t have a clue what I’m doing, I just watched a few videos”. This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Saturday 16 May 2015.
