It's not very often that someone receives a new hand in the post. But that's exactly what happened to a young boy from Thurmaston last week. Seven-year-old, Millergan Lowe, was born with amniotic band syndrome, which meant the fingers on his left hand didn't develop properly. But after a social media plea, an American company got in touch with his family and offered to make him a bionic hand using a 3D printer.
