Available for over a year

England cricket’s caretaker-coach Paul Farbrace has said “it would be very hard to say no” if offered the job on a permanent basis. “I was very disappointed for Peter [Moores] that he was moved on,” said Farbrace. “I’ve got this chance to work with the England team for this series again New Zealand and I’m just going to give it a really good go.” “If something happens at the end of it, great. If it doesn’t, no problem but I would have enjoyed my time doing it.” Farbrace, who kept wicket for Kent and Middlesex during an eight-year first-class career, will take charge of the England team for the two-Test series against New Zealand, which starts on Thursday 21st May.
