The third of this season's Diamond League meetings took place in Eugene at the end of May - at the spiritual home of the sport in the United States - Hayward Field. The venue - a stadium on a University campus - is looking forward to hosting the World Athletics Championships in 2021, after the sport's governing body bypassed the normal bidding process.
