Simon Cowell is reportedly to investigate the Britain's Got Talent final after the winner revealed that her beloved dog Matisse did not walk the tightrope. Jules O'Dwyer revealed that pet pooch Matisse is afraid of heights and didn't walk the tightrope, despite viewers thinking that he had. Sunday Mirror showbiz colunmnist Simon Boyle said: "It's staggering. I genuinely think this matters. There's a huge amount of people really invest in this show and there's obviously a huge prize at the end of it, £250,000. I just think that it doesn't do a lot of harm to say up front: 'here I am and I've brought my two dogs' - that's fine. But it was quite obviously choreographed in such a way that the dog disappeared for a moment, the new dog comes on, disappears again, and then the old dog comes back. It's not that dissimilar to if you're a singer and you've got your mate in the background doing the high bits because you can't quite get there. Yeah, it's a con." But Â鶹Éç entertainment correspondent Natalie Jamieson defended the winner. She told Phil Williams "it would've been blatantly obvious that she had more dogs with her. I think it's a bit harsh on Jules O'Dwyer to put quite an attack on her for supposedly duping the public. There have been other dogs in other acts that she's done and she's always spoken about using a team of dogs and that her dogs tell a story." This clip is originally from Phil Williams
