Former England spinner Graeme Swann has backed Worcestershire's Moeen Ali for the Ashes, over Yorkshire’s Adil Rashid. Swann said although Rashid (pictured, right) had “bowled well” in one-day matches, he was “not 100 percent sure” he could be as successful as Ali (pictured, left) in Test cricket. Former English first-class cricketer Chris Adams disagreed, claiming Ali was a "wonderful cricketer” but would “always be a number two spinner”. “If England are to develop and take their game forward, then it’s an absolute must to keep Rashid in the side now and give him a go from the very first test,” Adams said.
