A community activist from Leicester is calling on people of African and Carribean heritage to make sure they are accessing health care in the city. The African Caribbean Health Conference 2015 is being organised by Joe Allen in Highfields and he says it's to help connect the African Caribbean community with the health service. In this extract Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester's Kevin Ncube speaks to Joe Allen about how health care has changed over the years, and why the conference is important. *The African Caribbean Health Conference is on Wednesday the 24th of June from 10.30am till 3pm at the African Caribbean Centre in Highfields, Leicester.
